Shelburne Road Corridor Study

Purpose of the Study

The Shelburne Road Corridor Study will evaluate existing and future land use and transportation conditions along Shelburne Road (US 7 from GE Health in South Burlington to the Burlington City Line) and identify system deficiencies for all modes of transportation; develop the future vision and goals for the corridor; and develop recommendations that address varied travel needs, including those of motorists, transit riders, pedestrians, bicyclists, and freight carriers. The study will also carefully consider the corridor’s context as well as broader objectives related to economic development and quality of life in developing and evaluating recommended improvements.
